How do you change an alternator on a 1993 honda accord at?

do you have to pop the axcel to remove the alternator and if so do the boots pop off when you pop the axcel or is there a way that they come of before that .if anyone knows the complete steps or even a diagram of replacing the alternator I would appreciate itHow do you change an alternator on a 1993 honda accord at?You don't take off the boots. You remove the half axle with boots and CV joints attached. I replaced the axles on mine last year. It involves removing the wheel then the large nut that holds the hub on [sometimes difficult]. Detaching the lower ball joint [can also be difficult for the novice or beginner]. Taking out the lower bolt that attaches the fork. Pry the axle out at the transaxle with a pry bar and remove it. Then you should be able to get the alternator out.
